What is this course about?
The BA (Hons) Business & Entrepreneurship course is created for international students who want to be business leaders, innovators, or create businesses. You will look at how to develop business ideas, run businesses, identify the needs of customers in a market, manage operations, finance, marketing and strategy. You will not only learn theory, but you will also apply your learning through projects, case studies and real-life business scenarios.
What You Will Learn & Key Features Learn
How to think like an entrepreneur: spotting opportunities, creating business ideas and developing them into sustainable business ventures.
Business principles and core subjects: finance and accounting; product and service marketing; business operations/management; organisational behaviour; and business law.
Skills in innovation, strategic decision making and digital business tools.
Knowing how to plan, launch, and manage a business, including integrated business planning and financial management.
Real-world project opportunities: Start-up pitches, live briefs, group projects and possibly internships or work placements.
Entry Requirements (for International Students)
Entry Requirements (for International Students) UK recognised high school diploma (or equivalent acceptable for entry to UK undergraduate education).
English language proficiency (e.g. IELTS or equivalent) if prior studies were not in English.
A personal statement, references, and sometimes prior business or entrepreneurship exposure or interest are expected.
Demonstrated motivations, creativity and ability to work within a team and take risks.
