What does the course cover?

The BA (Hons) Business Management is an undergraduate degree that provides international students with broad and flexible coverage of business and strong general management capabilities. Students will explore the roles and functionality of businesses while learning about leadership, strategy, finance, marketing, operations, digital business, and organisational behaviour. Through project work, case studies, and work placements when available, students will engage with theoretical content and practical application.

What You Learn & Key Features –

Understand key aspects of business, e.g. finance, marketing, operations, human resource management and strategy.
Understand how organisations function, how to lead teams, make decisions and how to manage change.
Function in analytical ways: Data-driven decision making, interpretation of business metrics and measurement of performance.
Understand contemporary issues, e.g. digital transformation, sustainability and responsible business.
Experiential learning opportunities: group project work, real-life business brief, and possibly a placement/internship component.

Entry Requirements (for International Students)

A recognised high school qualification that is equivalent to UK A-levels.
Evidence of English Language proficiency (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or similar) if prior education was not undertaken in English.
Some institutions may request a personal statement, references and/or relevant experience.
Good interest in business, quantitative and communication skills would be helpful.

Progression Pathways

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to Level 4 of the BA (Hons) Business Management degree, continuing your journey toward becoming a future leader in the business world.
